Mike Grant is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Knee, Sports and Trauma surgery.

Mike studied medicine at the University of Liverpool and subsequently completed surgical and Orthopaedic training in the Merseyside region. During his training his interest in Sport and MSK injuries led to him completing a PGDip in Sports and Exercise Medicine at the University of Bath. At the same time, he was working with elite athletes for several top level Rugby League teams.

During his Orthopaedic training he started to focus his training on knee surgery and particularly joint preservation surgery, and his research led to multiple publications and international and national presentations across the UK, Europe and North America. 

He spent 6 months at the world renowned Wrightington Hospital, before embarking on prestigious international fellowships at North Shore Hospital in Auckland, NZ and the Perth Sports Surgery fellowship in Australia. He is keen to build on these experiences to be able to offer an excellent and bespoke service to his patients.
